My district includes the largest urban field in the United States, so my constituents, sadly, know better than many about the environmental and health impacts that come with oil and gas development.

Sydney Kai Kamlager-Dove is a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing California's 37th congressional district since April 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she has been actively involved in various social justice initiatives throughout her political career. Kamlager-Dove has focused on issues such as healthcare, education, and community safety, advocating for policies that support marginalized communities in her district. Prior to her election to Congress, she served in the California State Assembly, where she worked on legislation addressing housing and public safety.
