The free world is today confronted with some of the most sophisticated, best orchestrated efforts of theft and espionage in modern history.
I am asking for your understanding and support as we move ahead together to win this struggle and keep America free, secure, and at peace.
I do hereby proclaim November 30, 1985, as National Mark Twain Day.
I call upon the people of the United States to observe such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
