The working people of America are better off, and what better day to say it than on Labor Day.

It is my hope that my Commission on Privatization can take politics out of the privatization effort and propose a national policy.

There are many activities that are not the proper function of the Federal Government and that should simply be left to the private sector.

Here at home we must remember the lesson of the last 40 years.
