I do hereby proclaim the week beginning March 11, 1984, as National Surveyors Week.

I have sensed that maybe this hunger... is because we have under the guise of the first amendment... strayed from that.

I expect the USTR to pursue a resolution of this issue in a diligent and expeditious manner.

I urge the people of the United States to observe this week with appropriate ceremonies and activities paying tribute to professional survey...
