Ronald Reagan: “Our societies are a reflection of all that is good and decent in humankind.”

America is the shining city on the hill. Welcome all who enter to follow their dreams.

I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.

If we ever closed the door to new Americans, our leadership in the world would soon be lost.

This is a great day.
