Ronald Reagan: “We the people going to the polls to determine our political destiny.”

It was a message of peace.

We must and will dedicate ourselves as a Nation to continue this effort, and to stand in solidarity with those who resist, until the blessings of democracy, freedom, and respect for human dignity are assured throughout the world.

The pursuit of peace is, of course, always in season.

I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.
