On policy, with few exceptions, abortion being the most notable, the country is conservative. Is that not a given? Even Ross Perot agrees with that. So about 50 people are willing to go home and campaign that they are a flaming liberal who wants homosexuals to have full marriage rights. Anyone who can get away with it campaigns as a conservative. Clinton is campaigning as a conservative.
