Climate change is real. Pollution is real. And it affects the underserved, marginalized, underresourced communities more than it does the others.

Can you expand on what the administration wants to do to increase access to community health workers?

In my district alone, I have four DSH hospitals: Pioneer, El Centro, Palo Verde, and San Gorgonio hospitals, all of which will be significantly impacted by these cuts.

I am especially glad the Supporting Safety Net Hospitals Act, which will eliminate the pending cuts to disproportionate share hospital payments for the next 2 years, is included in this hearing for consideration.

I am working on legislation on--to increase access to community health workers and promotoras, and would love to partner with you on those efforts moving forward.

That is why I am proud to have joined Ranking Member Pallone to introduce the Doctors of Community Act, which will permanently fund the Teaching Health Centers program and result in the largest expansion of the program since its creation.

I have been a long-time advocate for the Teaching Health Center program and have introduced bills to extend the authorization time and as well as increasing funding because I believe in its mission, and I believe that it works.

The city continues to support the airport's closure and the property's redevelopment.

The study confirmed that the airport had created a financial burden for the city.

The airport has been operating with an annual deficit, meaning residents of this disadvantaged community are using their tax dollars to subsidize airport operations.

I would like to see the Committee address through the FAA reauthorization bill this year.

I appreciate your consideration of these requests to streamline funding to rural spaceports and establish a hypersonic corridor.

The airport property is ideally suited for logistics, e-commerce, and light manufacturing industries.

I appreciate the opportunity to highlight the City of Banning's desire to close the Banning Municipal Airport.

It shall be a goal of the city of Banning to close the Banning Municipal Airport as soon as legally permitted.

We should focus on putting people over politics.

We should not politicize intelligence and turn the origins questions into a partisan blame game.

HHS has committed to the goal of extending postrelease services, postrelease services to all children after release from ORR care within 2 years.

It is our responsibility to ensure that these children are treated humanely and provided with the necessities they need to survive.

I remain deeply concerned about the treatment of unaccompanied minors who are fleeing dangerous situations and seeking refuge in the United States.

Republicans have repeatedly tried to cut Medicare, and leading Republican plans have proposed to slash Medicare funding.

I am committed to protecting Medicare for seniors in my district and across the country.

We definitely need to have a comprehensive approach to examining actions taken in the earliest days of the public health crisis.

I strongly believe that, with proper oversight, these programs can help bridge the digital divide and give everyone in our country a real chance to share in our country's prosperity.
