Thank you for your service. Thank you for all those days that you went wondering, and thank you for finding hope in your struggle to make sure that other people do not get treated like you did.

I will continue to advocate for pragmatic solutions so that we can open our doors, specifically for our veterans.

It is unconscionable that Congress continues to put political gamesmanship above the needs of our veterans.

I applaud and encourage highly the gathering of accurate data. I believe very much in evidence-based medicine.

They care not only for a person's physical wellbeing, but also for their emotional wellbeing.

Our veterans deserve this type of care at all VA Medical Centers.

The importance of today's hearing resonates all too well with my past experience as an emergency room doctor.

Thank you, Chairman Benishek and Ranking Member Brownley, for holding today's hearing.

The longevity and the wellness of our veterans is first and foremost, above anything else.

I can assure that this need is critical to provide life-saving medical imaging and to prevent an increase in costs for patients.

Helium is a mainstay in the medical industry.

Thank you Mr. Chairman. I am pleased to be here today with my colleagues and have the opportunity to attend this hearing.

It is important that we address ways in which we can prevent the continuing helium shortage.

Finally, I look forward to discussing H.R. 527, the Responsible Helium Administration and Stewardship Act.

I look forward to working with my colleagues in a bipartisan manner on this and other issues that come through the Committee.

I appreciate the important role that helium has played for our patients and for all Americans throughout our country.

Would transparency provisions like those included in H.R. 527 help prevent against waste, fraud, and mismanagement in the BLM helium program?

We still have a long way to go in providing our veterans with quality, efficient mental health care.

I am appalled and saddened by the progress that has been made in providing them with timely and appropriate mental health care.

We need to begin modernizing and streamlining the process so veterans who need care can get care quickly.

I am always discouraged when I hear stories of struggling veterans facing delay and denial of much needed care here at home when they sacrificed so much abroad.
