I am looking forward to hearing what they are doing to combat the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

I encourage my colleagues to avoid political distractions that would merely shift the focus away from the children...

My hope is that we can understand the root causes, if we can get there, of these persistent challenges.

It is important that we all work together to address these horrific crimes and find a way to end this unprecedented violence against Native women.
