Our bill is bipartisan and it is bicameral. It has got more than 85 cosponsors in the House, and it is endorsed by dozens of small businesses and small business organizations across the country.

We shouldn't be penalizing responsible business owners who are going above and beyond for their employees.

I want to thank Dr. Boustany for his hard work on this bill, and hope that we can come together to give families the certainty they need.

This penalty takes that away from them. And I am proud to join my friend in trying to resolve this issue.

20 million more people have health care today because of the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare, and I do not think that can be overlooked.

Let us stop this nonsense.

I am one of those people who has received my health care from both the government-controlled, socialized health care, and that was when I was in the Army.

In my district, the uninsured rate went from 15.9 percent in 2012 to 9.8 percent in 2014. That is about 50,000 people in my congressional district who because of Obamacare have access to health care coverage today.

The only work that has been done by my friends on the other side is to repeal the health care access that people did not have before.

It just seems inherently unfair, and it would have a very negative impact on businesses.

However, when you close a loophole but reach back and try and collect those revenues that were the revenues from tax law as it used to be before change, I think that is where the rub comes.

How is that voluntary?
