They were rowdy little kids. What if they grew out of their shoes before I planned to buy new shoes? It was a very scary time. The day that I went off welfare was the day that I celebrated because I didn't need it. I could stand on my own two feet. But I guess we shouldn't be surprised by this debate.…”
