Mr. Speaker, I welcome a groundbreaking investment in our community's economy by tech and consumer goods manufacturer, Bosch. Bosch recently acquired the Roseville-based chipmaker, TSI Semiconductors, and announced plans to invest $1.2 billion into the existing Roseville facility. This major investment will significantly expand their production of silicon carbide chips, create good-paying jobs and opportunities throughout the entire region, and position Roseville as a regional leader in receiving investment from a rapidly growing business sector producing cutting-edge technology. I had the pleasure of meeting with Bosch's leadership prior to the investment announcement and now wish to publicly convey a warm welcome on behalf of California's Third Congressional District.
