“Mr. Speaker, in the spirit of National Teacher Appreciation Week, I wish to take a moment to highlight Samantha Harvey, a teacher from the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District, who has dedicated 9 years of her career to educating the students of her community. Mrs. Harvey serves as a fifth grade level leader. In her role, she demonstrates traits of a natural leader such as the ability to lead by example, motivate colleagues, facilitate collaboration, and so much more. She has built an educational environment to ensure that students and teachers alike feel valued, supported, and heard.
