VVA would like to thank Congresswoman Brownley for her hard work and dedication to women veterans.

Ensuring children get safely to and from school every day should be a top priority.

I think these small improvements to HOS regulations will provide many in the trucking industry much-needed relief.

When living servicemembers are awarded the Medal of Honor, they receive a special pension in recognition of their heroism, but when those Medal of Honor recipients are deceased, their loved ones receive no such compensation.

I have also introduced legislation, H.R. 1779, that would authorize Medal of Honor recipients to dedicate an individual to receive the special pension upon their death.

I think in practice, that doesn't always occur. And so having some sort of legislation that would actually protect veterans would be very helpful.

I think the suicides that we have all witnessed on VA campuses, in my mind, is a cry for help.

As you know, a 2018 VA OIG report found that 49 percent of military sexual trauma-related claims were incorrectly denied.
