I really appreciate the statement that you gave about Israel. And many of us who are devote Christians have a very strong feeling for the State of Israel and its people.
I have been very skeptical of this process from the beginning. I think that we are negotiating with a regime that has no intention of giving up its nuclear weapons program.
I kind of believe in that same issue of this frog and the scorpion. I think that they do want to sting.
Israel has the right and really the moral obligation to defend itself. It can't sit idle as missiles rain down on their citizens.
I hope it is not inevitable that Iran would get nuclear weapons because, unfortunately, I think that they would use them.
Either you do away with your nuclear program completely--no enrichment, no ability to create a nuclear weapon--or we continue down this path of sanctions.
I have been very sceptical of this interim agreement. I think it was a bad deal.
But at the same time, it seems, if there was more outrage in the Muslim world, there would be more pressure to try to find these guys and rescue these girls, and there doesn't seem to be.
I hope you can. Again, it seems like a very unfortunate situation that happens quite often.
