Mr. Chair, it's apparent that the gentleman from Indiana has not seen the river in my area, or simply just doesn't understand its flow. But to take an endangered species from Northern California, truck it down to the Central Valley, put it into a river that does not have fish screens, that does not have fish ladders, that does not have the environmental study just to watch these fish die is not only irresponsible, but it's a waste of money. So I would invite the gentleman from Indiana to come visit us anytime. But certainly don't make the mistake of killing an endangered species. I urge the adoption of the amendment. I yield back the balance of my time.
