I will just end by saying that this is another attempt to cut waste. Give the Department of Defense the flexibility to retain our personnel. 2,160 National Guardsmen, to be exact, could be saved and retained by cutting this amount of waste. As well as having Citizens Against Government Waste, the Senate has shown great wisdom in this particular instance in coming together with us and cutting this type of waste. I think this is a great opportunity to really show that we support those brave men and women by retaining those positions. I yield back the balance of my time.
