America currently has 2.6 million miles of pipeline providing an extremely safe way to transport energy products. The Keystone pipeline will be the safest ever built, with 95 special mitigation measures, including nearly 60 recommended by the Department of Transportation. It is time to approve this project. We can't afford any more delays. The American public deserves these jobs, and we deserve to be energy independent. Mr. DeFAZIO.
