Mr. Chair, I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title) insert the following: Sec. __. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to approve a waiver, pursuant to section 209(e) of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7543(e)), for the In-Use Locomotive Regulation adopted by the California Air Resources Board on April 27, 2023. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 1370, the gentleman from California (Mr. Obernolte) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes.
