Mr. Speaker, on Friday, December 16, 2011, I was absent during rollcall vote No. 938 in order to attend an important event in my district. Had I been present, I would have voted ``nay'' on H. Res. 500--Rule providing for consideration of the Conference Report on H.R. 2055--Consolidated Appropriations Act, H.R. 3672--Disaster Relief Appropriations Act and H. Con. Res. 94--Directing the Clerk of the House of Representatives to make corrections in the enrollment of H.R. 3671. ____________________
