I lend my support to this bill. I believe it is a rare opportunity to protect these resources by creating a long-lasting public-private partnership that will protect these fossils, while at the same time provide opportunities for the scientific community to study these important findings and allow the general public rare glimpses into life during the Jurassic Period. I think it is exceptional that this is getting more attendance than the Grand Escalante Staircase Monument. Mr. Speaker, I urge my colleagues to support the passage of H.R. 2385.
