While I strongly believe in coordination among international regulators, we must resist the tendency of pursuing a one-size-fits-all approach.

It is essential that Congress fully understand the impact international regulatory standards will have on the competitiveness of U.S. insurers.

Whether you support GSEs or not, if they are out of the marketplace in this market, it could be devastating.
