Your job is only impossible if you enable the President's corrupt schemes.

Mr. Attorney General, let us turn to the Michael Cohen case.

Well, it sounds like you are hearing this for the first time today and what concerns me, Mr. Attorney General--

I think you should start reading them, because he said Mr. Stone showed guts.

It is a crime for you, it is a crime for me, and it is certainly a crime for the President of the United States.

You said a crime. You didn't say it would be wrong. You didn't say it would be unlawful. You said it would be a crime.

Americans from both parties are concerned that in Donald Trump's America there is two systems of justice, one for Mr. Trump and his cronies and another for the rest of us.

I feel safe two times during the day--when I wake up in my own home and when I come home from work to my own home. In between, I drive a nice car that I worked hard for, and people in my community think I stole it.

To often in our criminal justice system, the deck is stacked against persons of color because of statements that are falsely made in police statements and then put out to the public when there were no cameras, no public footage.

What's so frustrating here is that the President could just pardon Roger Stone, but instead, he's chosen to show all of us that he's got others who will do his hits for him. And he's injected this virus of corruption into the department.

I don't think the President needs to. We learn from Michael Cohen that there's kind of a code that the President has where, you know, how intimate something or say, you know, it will be really nice or it's so unfair what's happening to…

So you know, I think we're going to see what we can find. We're not helpless anymore. You know, we won the majority and we have subpoena power and also we have these brave prosecutors who have resigned.

Independence of prosecutors is a pillar of our democracy. And I think we want to know if that pillar still stands?

I think it's intentional, yes. I think he wants to show that he can actually have the DOJ do his work. Because no matter what happens, I think Stone is ultimately getting a pardon.

I have since introduced legislation that was included and passed in the House of Representatives that puts a duty to report on an individual if they receive campaign assistance, or even an offer of dirt on your opponent who you should know…

Simply put, the FBI failed in its responsibilities with respect to FISA, and that requires action.

You may not be able to control the content of the President's Twitter account, but our Government has an obligation to be unified in protecting every American's right to vote from anyone who threatens to undermine that right.

We must be unified in our fight against anyone who tries to undermine the very foundations of our democracy.

We have introduced legislation that would toll the statute of limitations for a sitting President to have them start running again once they leave office.

Does the FBI see the Russians amplifying content of certain campaigns in the 2020 election?

I look forward to working with the Bureau to make sure that we can keep our pistols, keep our rifles, keep our shotguns to protect ourselves, but also make sure the most dangerous weapons don't end up in the hands of the most dangerous…

I hope that is the case, too.

I remain convinced that the prior Administration weaponized the FBI for political motivation and purposes.

We must address the sad and frightening resurgence of White supremacy and other forms of nativist extremism that plagues our country.

The Inspector General...did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the decisions to open the individual investigations.
