I thank the gentleman from Massachusetts for his input on this. I continue to oppose the amendment. I certainly sympathize with those affected by disaster. But given the current fiscal environment, it just defies common sense to implement new, duplicative lending programs. Mr. Chairman, with that, I yield back the balance of my time. The Acting CHAIR.
