Vladimir Putin is not our friend, and there is simply no comparing the actions of the United States with those of Putin's Russia.

Clearly there is strong bipartisan support for well-resourced, broad engagement in Africa.

There have been numerous reports of senior executives at the GSEs meeting with Federal policymakers to advocate for being taken out of conservatorship.

I urge we use this responsibility and adopt this resolution.
