I yield myself such time as I may consume. Mr. Speaker, I rise in strong support of this measure. In particular, I want to thank the gentleman from North Carolina, Mr. Mark Meadows, for being an early leader on this issue, focusing on Hezbollah and on this legislation. I also want to thank Congressman David Scott of Georgia. He served for 8 years on the Foreign Affairs Committee as vice chairman of the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade. I would just mention that, as chairman of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Committee that researched and wrote the report on Iran's nuclear weapons program, he has unique insights with respect to the threat posed by Hezbollah--not just to Israel, but to the West. We thank them both for their work on this measure. I also want to thank Senators Rubio and Shaheen for recognizing the urgency of this problem and working in a bipartisan way to ensure that this legislation was able to pass the Senate so that today we can send it to the President's desk. And, most importantly, I want to thank my good friend and colleague, the gentleman from New York, Mr. Eliot Engel, for his work to push back against Iran and its proxies that threaten the United States and threaten our allies globally.
