CROA is a law that protects consumers from the predatory practices of credit repair organizations.

There is nothing in the Royce bill that addresses that at all, that would interfere with that in any way.

Congressman Royce's draft would solve this problem by creating a regulatory framework for authorized credit service providers.

I think this would enhance the protections for consumers with respect to credit education and identity theft protection products.
