Duncan Hunter: “U.S. law doesn't give you a number.”

The U.S. currently has a competitive space launch industry, yet NASA payloads continue to fly on foreign launch vehicles.

I would like to differentiate, too, between super high-tech stuff that is in its infancy stages and is nascent--and a floating surfboard that can sense if there is oil in the water that has been around for 5 years or longer.

Our entire way of life is dependent on space. And our, not enemies necessarily, but our competitors know that.

I respectfully urge the Speaker to immediately schedule this important bill. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The gentleman is not recognized for debate. ____________________
