Last year, we were able to fill San Luis Reservoir 100 percent. This year, there was a vast amount, like 95 percent, of cut-down in running the pumps.
But that costs a lot of money to the taxpayers. We always say Government needs to do something. It is the taxpayers that pays for all of this.
But it shouldn't require you having to come hat in hand to this place and ask a Congress Member to run a bill so you can purchase a piece of land that might be surplus already to the government.
