Thank you, Madam Chair. Good morning. Thank you, panelists. I appreciate you, Chair Spanberger, for calling this hearing today to update and review on the implementation of these important conservation programs in the Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018.

But that costs a lot of money to the taxpayers. We always say Government needs to do something. It is the taxpayers that pays for all of this.
I did want to speak on H.R. 6368, the Indian Buffalo Management Act, and I am glad to work on that with Mrs. Peltola.
We should pass this bill because the Indian people need it but also as a tribute to our dear friend Don Young.
We greatly appreciate the leadership of Representative Fischbach, Representative LaMalfa and Representative Thompson for the introduction of the HEN Act.
