How do you distinguish between the area of protected Constitutional speech versus that which is an indicator of potential violent acts?

I appreciate the fact that it is now recognized as a current and continuing threat to us, that is, the operation of a lone wolf.

If you have no real consequences now, you are going to have no real changes in the future.

I think it is illogical to suggest that giving them increased mobility in the market in which they are allowed to come into the United States would not have a tendency to increase wages.

I don't want you to state under oath exactly what it is, but would you say that it is fair to suggest that over half the workforce in the AG fields in California is here without benefit of legal papers?

We need to recognize that and do what is right for the country, and we can't allow ideology to trump common sense.

Are you suggesting to us that the security at San Francisco International Airport, the largest airport that has a private contractor, is less than what it is at any other airport?

I have got to deal with people in my district who are law-abiding citizens who believe in the Second Amendment who say to me look, the Feds are overreaching all over the place, and here you got a situation where they screwed up.

What we would like to see happen to try to stop racial profiling is a collection of data that can be analyzed.
