The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle B of title XII of division A of the bill, add the following: SEC. 12XX. PROHIBITION ON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS FOR ASSISTANCE FOR PAKISTAN. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, none of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act may be used to provide assistance for Pakistan. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 661, the gentleman from California (Mr. Rohrabacher) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from California.
