I strongly support preserving unlicensed spectrum for American innovators, and an auction I believe will put American innovators and American innovation at a competitive disadvantage.
Personal privacy is, I believe, a very closely held American value. I think it is in our DNA.
Help me with this and whomever wants to lean in on this. We are all concerned about children.
I think we can draw from the work that you are doing but I think that the Congress really either needs to update some of the laws that are on the books or do something that is overarching that is going to protect innovation but also speak to, what, the second decade of the 21st Century that we are already in.
I think that it is important for us to keep pressing ahead on this, examine the suggestions that have been made.
I think that we need to be cautious of legislative proposals which might or could diminish the Commission's ability to protect the public interest.
I want to thank Chairman Walden for incorporating the FCC Collaboration Act into the draft legislation under discussion today.
I wish Congresswoman Matsui were here because she has worked very hard on the whole issue of serving anchor institutions.
