I would just say I am one of those freshmen that came here to Washington, DC, to take care of the bureaucrats here in this city and to make sure that the people on the central coast of California got what they wanted for their tax dollar: cleaner water, cleaner air, and to make it a better place. They realize that the bureaucrats here can usurp a lot of those tax dollars and not accomplish what we truly want on the central coast of California. They want to do away with the regulations, the duplicity of laws, and they want to get on with it. So I would just say that I am proud of my voting record that I have had here and I will continue to do so.
