I have had 30 meetings, a senior citizen conference, and one big Medicare briefing at a hospital that brought in 400 people. So we have all been out in the hinterlands talking to our constituents. I do not know about you, but I find many people are in the state of denial. It was interesting, just other day an editorial in one of my local papers suggested ``Let's just raise taxes and take care of the situation. Why are we worried about this and concerning our seniors and everyone else?'' I would just like to remind people, and I can tell you, I am going to be putting in a letter to the editor in rebuttal to that editorial, that that has been done before. Not too long ago we raised taxes. We can raise taxes until we are blue in the face. Yet the system is broken. It needs to be fixed. I think this is the important point that we need to get to, the message to our seniors.
