Mark Edward Kelly is an American politician, engineer, and former astronaut currently serving as the junior United States senator from Arizona. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected to the Senate in a special election held in November 2020 and officially took office on December 2, 2020. Kelly has focused on various issues during his tenure, including veterans' affairs, healthcare, and gun control, reflecting his commitment to public service and safety.
I admit, there is a misconception out there in the general public that we have these cushy jobs.
This is the Congress that we have always thought should be there. This is the Congress that the founders put together.
So I really hope you guys will think about ways that we can highlight these skills and make sure.
It is really not surprising to me that when you allow people to be vested in something, and to have to work and to earn it, that they appreciate it, and the benefits are coming to them if they work harder, so I thank you all.
I do not think any rule or regulation, if it was up to me, none of them, unless they were approved by Congress, would ever be acted into regulation.
Mr. and Mrs. Taxpayer, you are going to get to keep more of your own money. It is going to stay in your pocket.
The fourth branch of government, which I would argue right now until we do something, is the most powerful branch of government in spite of that is not the best thing for this nation.
We are trying to adopt some source of revenue from hard-working American taxpayers again. All of this stuff is being driven by taxes.
The government will take from taxpayers the amount of money they need to run programs and say, 'We will use it better...'
It is all generated by hard-working American taxpayers. It is not generated by the government.
Let me just say, too often politics interfere with policy that is good for people.
the only way this is ever going to change--because change only takes place during a time of crisis or tragedy.
I am absolutely stunned...politically, we can't move on to save this country.
It is not always going to be about money. It is going to be at the end of your life not how much you have in the bank but how many people you have actually touched and how many people you have helped.
I also think that is very important that we have the voluntary conservation. It works, and we need to work together...
But from a moral perspective, it is unacceptable that any university would attempt to either censor its students.
We know that, enshrined in the very Bill of Rights--the very first amendment to the Bill of Rights allows us to have free speech.
