It makes no sense for consumers to continue to suffer from this 'regulatory gap' and the lack of regulatory clarity.

In these economically troubling times, the very last thing the FCC should be suggesting is rate increases on a basic service that people rely upon in emergencies and to find and keep employment.

I just don't think that shifting consumer complaints about billing, service quality, to the FCC in Washington, D.C., instead of Little Rock or Olympia, Washington, is a good thing.
