I think the bigger story in terms of U.S.-Cuba relations is it is a chance for Cuba to be more exposed to U.S. values and U.S. ways of doing business and U.S. freedoms.

I am encouraged by recent steps to reform the U.S.-Cuba relationship. Boosting our commercial ties would have significant benefits for both of our economies.

Unfortunately, the President has put forth a budget that is out of touch with the needs and concerns of hard-working taxpayers.

I think the standards that we use have to be mindful of the fact that the architecture that was put in place was designed to prevent the taking of risks that could add up to a risk to the country.

While hard-working Arkansans have been forced to cut their spending significantly in the last few years, the President has been unwilling to do the same in Washington.
