I do not like that at all. I do not think that is the way to be treated.

I do not think that Chairman Gensler knows what all these 31 working groups and 51 regulations are going onto the detail that we would like to know.

What am I going to tell a local manufacturer?

I think it is important that this Committee here work together to try and monitor the work that is done by the CFTC, the Fed, and the SEC to make sure that these troubles with the bill, the concerns that we have, are not compounded.

I think it is hard to do that until you know what the final definitions are.

I do not think right now that they really understand the impact of what is going to happen.

I want to thank Senator Begich for his help with the bill that we have introduced.

I look forward to working with my colleagues who have legislation before us today to address the needs of our Nation's veterans and their families.

I believe that Susan Hickey will do a great job and that we will all be very proud of her future service on the bench.

I am proud to be here and join with my senior Senator from Arkansas, Mark Pryor, to introduce and support Susan Hickey's nomination as U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.

One of the most important things that we do in the Senate is the confirmation of judges, the process of selecting people with the right temperament and the right qualifications.

I would really encourage you, and I know you are doing this, but some things were done after Katrina...

In these very difficult economic times, not only does that increase markets and things like that, but that really is a thing that will help provide another security network.

The Civil Works program of the Corps is so important to the Nation.

I want to thank the nominees for their history of service and their continued willingness to serve our country.

I would love to hear from the liaisons themselves, you know, that are actually doing this work.

We are committed in a very bipartisan way to help you in any way that we can.

I appreciate your leadership and the Ranking Member's in having the hearing. This is really very important.

If the Nation decides that returning to the surface of the Moon is an important objective, ... the point of the Flexible Path is to get the necessary infrastructure in place.

I think NASA plays a real, real important role.

I think we have to look for objectives that are new and interesting, that maximize these other benefits, including scientific knowledge.

I think Flexible Path is clearly kicking that can down the road because it is not clear how we are going to pay for the development of those much more expensive systems.

I think the relationship that you and--Mr. Chairman--the Ranking Member, Senator Rockefeller, have had in regard with this issue is a great example of that.
