Okay. General Kehler, is there a 'reduced scope' option that meets minimum military requirements and costs less than the B61-12 design that is currently being pursued in this LEP?

These four retired senior officers eloquently summarized why cuts to the B61 LEP... would not only harm the U.S. deterrent, but also have major negative impacts on our allies and our nonproliferation goals.

It is time to leave aside the misinformation and fantasy that has seeped into the public debate, and deal with the real world.

Would it be fair to say that the White House should know what those collection priorities are?

Every day the government is shut down is another day of economic uncertainty. We need to focus on what matters to our communities, our neighborhoods, and our residents.

The antics in Washington are threatening to unravel the progress our cities have made over the last few months and cause harm to the entire Nation. It is a reckless approach to governing.

I think everybody in this room would agree that the sequestration maneuver was a tactical error made by the Congress in the Budget Control Act that blew up in our face, and we need to acknowledge it was a stupid mistake and correct it.

The impact of sequestration and how wrong-headed it is for the country, but particularly for your respective service branches.

So you don't have to come in afterwards and audit to find out about it, they have to notify you when they realize there has been a breach or a leak?

The issue isn't when, or if, but when we are going to have a breach of the data hub or it is going to be leaked or some other problem.

Well, it is twofold. The university needs the land back for its expansion, but more importantly the VA does not need it and it has just been a maintenance burden for them financially.
