Let me wrap up with something. If the Nelson amendment passes, this is the effect: These are businesses, real people who are going to be hurt because they are left out. In the State of Iowa, 3,334 businesses are left out; in the State of California, 18,960. Over 40,000 businesses, employing 93 million people, are left out. This talk about gutting the health care reform bill; are you kidding me? The President himself used $250 million of the $500 million this year for purposes other than what was intended by this health care bill. This is simply a choice between standing with our small businesses or standing with the President on the health care bill against small businesses. I ask my colleagues to vote yes on the Johanns amendment and stand with small businesses. I yield the floor. The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. The Senator from Iowa is recognized.
