We were pleased to see passage last week of the Alaska Tourism Restoration Act introduced by Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK), and Representative Don Young (R-AK).

What steps is the Department taking to ensure that all Federal student loan borrowers have equal access to any current or proposed new relief and benefits?

It's more important than ever to take all risks into consideration to ensure our ability to project power in this part of the world.

I think that's an interesting approach, recognizing that oftentimes these factors are community-based, regionally-based.

I appreciate your eyes on that and the fact that your background allows you to be intimately familiar with their mission.

We are concerned about any potential for gap because what they do and what they provide is extraordinary unique.

I am committed to meeting those time goals, the interim ones and the final time goal.

The Bureau will expedite and process veterans' allotment applications across the area addressed by these orders.

I understand the commitment from the Secretary to say we want to prioritize our Alaska Native Veteran allottees.

It is absolutely imperative that we not miss this deadline.

We need, again, very, very tight timelines that we are dealing with, with all of these.

My fishermen now are a little bit worried about what this 30 by 30 proposal might be.

So as one who, again with Senator Daines, we want people to stay focused on the science and on the data.

I think it would be helpful to try to understand how the Administration is defining conservation, and in terms of engagement, I would urge you to be more engaged, more open.

I was one of those members of Congress who supported that plan.

We want to take good care of it, but we also do not want to be in a situation where our ability to live, to work, to raise our families is denied because we have no economic opportunity.

Russia is providing more oil to the United States than Alaska is currently.

I had some concerns about the mandatory funding for LWCF, including how we pay for it.
