Agreed. Recognize that we just need to be doing more to be inclusive of these young people.

Because it takes extraordinary strength for a young person to say, no, I am going--I want to be part of this public dialog and engagement.

It is impacting our military security. It is impacting our economic security when you cannot get people to be able to return to work because there is no childcare for them.

Childcare is not only a workforce issue, it is a military readiness issue.

I don't view childcare as a threat to me as a parent, about whether or not we are losing our values.

I co-sponsored that because I thought it was a good way to actually help assist childcare providers and families in their ability to be able to choose childcare without us here in the Federal Government micromanaging things.
