I want to be very clear that we don't want to create Indian Country in Alaska.

We would also like to thank Senator Murkowski for the leadership role she has taken in women's issues, her attempt to find solutions to domestic violence, and her advocacy on ending the sex-trade practices in Alaska.

Domestic supply/demand conditions will prevail given the relative size of the likely export market verses the huge and growing domestic market.

Our proper course won't be sweeping legislation or layers of new regulation.

So in addition to the traditional ways that Dr. Mala advises, we need to be tuned to how the young people are communicating as well.

It requires that as a community, we are watching, not only our kids, but our neighbor's kids.

I believe that the solutions will not come unless we're listening to our young people.

I want to focus on early intervention.
