When I listen to them first, that is when we have an exchange that actually makes it work.

That is empowering. We need to remember to listen to what these young people have to say.

There is no research that we need to fund on how to end FASD. You just don't drink when you are pregnant and you will not have a child that is afflicted with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.

I think we need to listen to the youth.

We required coordination efforts on alcohol and substance use issues in Indian Country when we expanded the number of Federal agencies that are involved in it.

I don't think that there is anybody who thinks that by making marijuana legal we are going to be helping those with substance issues.

I remain concerned that everybody has their program and they have to defend their program.

While we believe colleges should make every effort to inform both parties promptly, this short timeframe may be unrealistic in certain circumstances.

I am concerned, however, about provisions in CASA that specifically state a confidential advisor is not obligated to report crimes to the institution.

We applaud the leadership and legislative efforts of Senators Murkowski and Heitkamp to do so.

We fully support the efforts of Senator Heitkamp and Senator Murkowski.

Keep in mind that it is perfectly legal, fair, legitimate, done every day, to send our refined products overseas.

I called at that time for a lifting of this outdated ban.

I think it is important to note that crude oil has been on that list now for some 40-odd years.

It is important to be in discussion about this 40-year-old ban that we have had in place in this country that prohibits the export of crude oil from the United States.

It was my understanding that I was next in the queue. If I am incorrect, I would be happy to get this squared away. I, too, have about 15 minutes.

We should follow through with this because, as you know, it is not always an issue just of money and the available resources.

It was a fabulous effort that gave hope and a purpose to so many of these kids.

The Consolidated Tribal Grant Solicitation has been criticized because effectively what you are doing is pitting communities that have problems against each other.

You have the Consolidated Tribal Assistance solicitation but needless to say, the Attorney General and I had a quick, stand up conversation.

It was very powerful.

We want to make the change. We want to be that agent of change.

We must ensure that our programs do not leave these areas on the sidelines.
