Since 1977, Congress has appropriated and the U.S. Treasury has distributed payments in lieu of taxes (PILT) on Federal lands nationwide.
We do not have border patrol. We do not have any security along that entire U.S. coast that is called Alaska, some 33,000 miles of coastline that we have got up there.
