The standard is that a judge must act at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the independence, integrity and impartiality of the judiciary and shall avoid the impropriety and the appearance of impropriety.

It has to end. This is not who we are. This is not who we should be. This is not who we raise our children to be.

We owe it to the people of America to return to a less rancorous confirmation process.
