As you know, the State of Alaska recently submitted a very comprehensive Exploration Plan and Special Use Permit Application to the Department pursuant to section 1002(e) of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act or 'ANILCA.'

I want you there when that northwest wind comes in. I want you to have to ride across that body of water. I want you to have the experience.

I want to suggest you have somebody by your side to make sure that you don't get yourself in a hot seat down the line because maybe you weren't aware of something.

I think it is time that the Coast Guard maybe think out of the box a little bit.
