There is a debate that I am sure you are seeing being played out.

Can I get your commitment to take a very serious look--when you are making the OCONUS decision, to take a look at Bill Mitchell's place that he called the most strategic place in the world as part of that?

There are a lot of us who think the President...pressing the limits of his executive authority, ignoring the rule of law.

Are you concerned about recent unprofessional behavior by both the Chinese and Russian aircrafts during intercepts in international airspace?

Yes, I concur with General Milley that a 450K AC Army (980K Total Army) will leave our Nation with high military risk.

Close with and destroy the enemies of our Nation?

I think everybody recognizes that.

I think some people need a little education on that issue.

I think that we're not doing enough, in terms of missile defense, to prepare for this inevitability.

General Robinson, does it not hurt NORTHCOM's advocacy effort that NORTHCOM has neither the threat in the region, nor the operational control of the forces to respond to that threat?

Given the President's budget, given the force levels of the Army would put the Army at, 'high military risk.'

How do we ever complete our mission as long as there is a substantial safe haven in the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan?

General Robinson, do you have any recommendations to improve advocacy of the Arctic within DOD?

I would like your commitment to work with us.

I believe... it is way too low, strategically risky for the country.

Going to 450,000 now is too risky, given the strategic challenges that we face globally.

I support GEN Milley's decision, and I will work with the Department of Defense to ensure we maintain full spectrum capabilities.

I think the White House has admitted they violated the law with regard to Bergdahl.

There is a fundamental issue here. The statehood compact by which Alaska became a State... granted by the Congress, authority for the State to manage our fish and wildlife.

Alaska has probably the best management of fish and game of any State, of any country in the world.

I appreciate the bipartisan way in which we have been focused on it.

There is a big principle at stake here: the management of Alaska's lands, State and Federal, which were guaranteed by Congress.

So I urge a yes vote on my amendment.

This is a perfect example of where an agency philosophically disagrees with Federal law, so they bypass the will of Congress.
