Wes Streeting: “RAF Typhoons will fly defensive air missions to help protect Saudi airspace from drones and missiles.”

These aircraft will operate in a defensive role and will not conduct offensive strikes against the Houthis.

The continuing attacks from the Houthis on our ally Saudi Arabia are absolutely despicable.

I absolutely stand by the decisions I’ve taken to make sure the culture in my department is one that lives within its means and delivers value to the taxpayer.

I think it is both inaccurate and irresponsible to suggest that Scotland’s coast is undefended.
